Addition of 2.6 kernel delays completion, so renamed to 2004.05
Updated to 2.6.4 kernel and same problems
Removed nvidia-glx to prevent conflicts for users not using nvidia display cards, nvidia will use nv driver by default
Attempted to fix spamassassin slowness in Kmail, better but still slow 
Built 2.6.3 kernel and tweaked kernel configs so 2.4.25 and 2.6.3 are as alike as possible
Switched to using gcc 2.9.5 for kernel builds, makes smaller kernels, suppose to be more stable, compatible with more binary third party drivers
Time passes... Got kernels matched, sort of
Changed to GRUB to support multiple boot scenarios
Got 2.6.3 kernel booting from CD
Lots of problems with 2.6.3 kernel and input devices and hotplug
