Introduction
An aircard is a device for a laptop, PDA or cell phone that allows the user to connect to wide area wireless Internet access. You will need a service plan to access the Internet with your aircard.
[edit]
Hardware choices
Sierra cards (such as the 875U USB) are known to work on MEPIS 7, where the driver "sierra" is available as a kernel module that can be loaded.
[edit]
Operation
Sierra card connects using PPPD, may not work with KPPP.
