Fixing No Root Login for KDM

open File_Manager_-_Super_User_Mode
enter root password
go to /etc/kde/kdm (or try this path: /etc/kde3/kdm )
click on file kdmrc and it will open in kwrite
select edit > find
in the text to find box type allowrootlogin and uncheck case sensitive, then click find
change the word false to true
it should now look like this AllowRootLogin=true
save and exit, when you next reboot root login will be shown
