Adobe Flash is a multimedia platform that is a popular means of adding animation and interactivity to web pages. It is a plugin for the web browser and is installed by default in MEPIS.

Test which version you have installed at: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

The plugin flashplugin-nonfree is installed by default, but is available for reinstallation from the MEPIS repository via Synaptic. It can also be installed directly from Adobe (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) or from the debian-multimedia repository as the flashplayer-mozilla package which may be a newer version than the flashplugin-nonfree.
