Mepis 6.0
- Enabling Dimension 9100 hyper-threading
Default MEPIS 6.0 does not come with a kernel that has hyper-threading enabled. You can check this with:
cat /proc/cpuinfo
It should list two "logical" processors
Fix: install a smp enabled kernel
- Enabling USB keyboard and mouse
FIX: add usb-handoff parameter to /boot/grub/menu.lst
