This is the Sources.list recommended for MEPIS 8.0 (for older version look here). This list can be found in /etc/apt/sources.list
This is an up to date recommended list as of June 22 2009:

In the above list, the Test Repositories are disabled (# at beginning of last two lines). Before you enable them, please see the notes at the Community Repository page.

- Do not forget to do an apt-get update or a Reload in Synaptic every time you change the sources.list file.
- If you see a public key error, read this
