Special features needed

Please consider adding these features:

Custom Install/Minimum install It would be nice to be able to choose which packages to install (or not) to hdd, so a Minimal/Basic install is possible (with or without KDE)
Encrypted partition option would be a great addition to the installer:

Raid option on install Definitely WITH the encrypted partitions option above!
Split install across multiple hard drives Say system on hda, swap on hdb and home sda as an example.
Find packages added by hand in old system, as described in Which packages did I add?, and propose their re-installation in the new system (e.g. mark candidates in Synaptic). (Also consider changing /etc/logrotate.d/dpkg in such a way that /var/log/dpkg.log is kept much longer.)

add/remove service manager -- ksysv and update-rc.d are not very intuitive and user-friendly
menu for multiple Wireless logins -- so that one doesn't constantly have to change iwconfig parameters manually to switch between WAPs.
remastering tool -- something very simple like in PCLOS (a makeiso script that makes a ISO image from the HD installation)
Error feedback in Network tool In MEPIS network tool, if I click to start a network interface and it fails, I get no feedback. No error, no alert, it just doesn't work. Some kind of indication would be nice here.

More desktop themes: I think that having a few different themes would get more people intrigued with the desktop. KDE is amazingly powerful, and what comes with Mepis doesn't scratch the surface. Having two or three themes that capture a wider breadth of the possibilities would be awesome.
