Switching virtual terminals

  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to switch to the first virtual terminal
  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F2 to switch to the second virtual terminal
  • etc.
  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F6 to switch to the sixth virtual terminal
  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to switch to the first display
  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F8 to switch to the second display
  • etc.
  • Press Ctrl+Alt+F12 to switch to the sixth display

For Ctrl+Alt+F8...F12 to work you need to have a session opened on those displays.

Click on the "K" menu -> "Switch User" -> "Start New Session", then you can switch between displays with the shorcuts provided above.
