10/23/06 - I certainly don't understand all I know about using this sight.Anyway I bought the book about a year ago. I bought and old 98 for $6.88 and I'm trying to load the Mepis software included with the book. I think the hard drive was wiped clean on the old unit. I made a "start up" floppy from another 98 unit. I get as far as the mepis login; I have tried the demo & root login and all I get is "login failed"?
