Change image preview settings

!!! Warning! The info contained in this article pertains to older versions of MEPIS !!!
By default, Konqueror will only display preview icons for files under 1 MB in size. To change that:

  • Open Konqueror
  • Click Settings --> Configure Konqueror --> Previews & Meta-Data
  • In the Select Protocols pull-down menu, select the box for "file" under Local Protocols
  • Drag handle to increase Maximum file size (e.g. to 4 MB to include your usual photographs)
  • Click OK
