Fixing No Root Login for KDM

From MEPIS Documentation Wiki

1. Open the File Manager in Superuser Mode
2. Enter root password
3. Go to /etc/kde/kdm (or try this path: /etc/kde3/kdm )
4. Click on file kdmrc and it will open in kwrite
5. Select Edit --> Find
6. In the text to find box type allowrootlogin and uncheck case sensitive, then click find
7. Change the word false to true. It should now look like this AllowRootLogin=true
8. Save and exit, when you next reboot root login will be shown
