Remove non-us from sources.list

!!! Warning! The info contained in this article pertains to older versions of MEPIS !!!
For the sarge release, packages that were formerly in the non-US part of the archive have been moved into the regular archive. If you have any lines referring to "non-us" in your /etc/apt/sources.list, you should remove them.

  • Run kwrite as root, open /etc/apt/sources.list file, alternatively you can go in Synaptic -> Settings -> Repositories.
  • Remove "non-us" lines.
