Rkhunter

RKHunter is a RootKit detector, it also checks for obvious weak configuration of some important packages (for example ssh)

Install it with Synaptic/apt-get
Utilization:
- Upgrade definitions:
- As root type: rkhunter --update
- Check the system:
- As root type: rkhunter -c
- Press Enter when prompted to continue testing.
- For more info type: rkhunter | less
