Installed through this commands from terminal as root

 wget http://kent.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/xvidcap/xvidcap_1.1.4p1_i386.deb 
 sudo dpkg -i xvidcap_1.1.4p1_i386.deb 
 xvidcap

and it started working well.........
