Intro
From the home page: The Sugar Learning Platform promotes collaborative learning through Activities that encourage critical thinking, the heart of a quality education. Designed from the ground up especially for children, Sugar offers an alternative to traditional “office-desktop” software.
Installation
There are install debs in the repos, but they are reported not to work. Other directions for M8 can be found on this page.
Use
It doesn't come with any Activities (learner applications) installed by default, but users have gotten Read, Pippy, and Terminal to work. Some Activities can be installed from the repos, but most need to be downloaded from the link below and installed using sugar-install-bundle.
