Question about style, should we say "for MEPIS 8 and MEPIS 8.5" or can we say "for MEPIS 8.x" (I think the latter is a bit confusing) AdrianTM 16:39, 29 March 2010 (EDT)

: It's a shorthand convention that makes sense if you're used to it, but could indeed be confusing if you're not.  "Mepis 8/8.5" ?  Or does that look too much like a fraction? :) SilverBear 00:09, 31 March 2010 (EDT)

I'd like to welcome savvy_cowgirl to the stable of wiki editors.  She's new to the Wiki, but she's taking the bull by the horns on this project!  (Sorry for the rodeo metaphors, Savvy.  I couldn't resist!) SilverBear 00:09, 31 March 2010 (EDT)

Revision as of 04:09, 31 March 2010

We need to decide what do we do with old info, let's say MEPIS 3.3, should we keep it? It needs to be properly tagged in any case... AdrianTM 16:33, 25 March 2010 (EDT)

I would like to see all info should be kept, newest version at the top of the page, with == separating the versions down the page so an index will appear at the top. Jerry bond 17:29, 25 March 2010 (EDT)
Cool, especially that many people will remain with 8.0. But pages that pertain only to old version should be clearly tagged, preferable by adding a version number template to the page, for example AdrianTM 18:09, 25 March 2010 (EDT)
Sounds good to me. Jerry bond 21:08, 25 March 2010 (EDT)
