Introduction
The file xorg.conf is produced by the X.Org Server that sets up the appropriate configuration of the X Window System for a particular environment.
Automatic configuration
- Smxi
- MEPIS_X-Windows_Assistant - only for MEPIS 8.5 and earlier
- Reinstalling_X_config_file
- Dpkg-reconfigure_xserver-xorg -- not for MEPIS 8 or later!
- Xorg -configure -- MEPIS 8!
