Suggestions to Improve MEPIS.org
Submitted by emelbert on Mon, 09/25/2006 - 15:30. OtherOver the past few months, we've been working on improving our website, but we want to know what you think. What are your suggestions for improving MEPIS.org? We're not looking to change the site software, so we're more interested in changes we can make to the content and/or the structure of the content. Please post your comments and suggestions to help us make the website better for you. Thanks!

Comments Please: New MEPIS Store
Submitted by warren on Fri, 09/08/2006 - 08:51. OtherHi All,
You may have noticed there is a "New Store" item in the top menu of mepis.org. I've wanted to do this for over a year, but I never had the time. Please take a look at it and leave your comments. In particular I'd like to know if you think the prices are reasonable or if you have any ideas for additional products or changes to the products. I don't mean additional versions of MEPIS, you've given me lots of input on that through the poll.

Cipherfunk Shutdown by GPL Police
Submitted by warren on Thu, 08/24/2006 - 08:55. OtherUpdate
Matthew Garrett has requested that you look at the email he sent to cipherfunk and judge it for yourself. It can be viewed at http://www.codon.org.uk/~mjg59/polite_note.txt To me, it sounds like Matthew was being polite and reasonable. Other GPL advocates could learn a thing or two from Matthew's example.

Changing of the Colors
Submitted by mmelbert on Wed, 05/31/2006 - 09:59. OtherDo you like the default color scheme of the latest betas? If not, you have lots of company. We have been busy getting things tweaked, and we just have not had time to stop and do anything about it. If you would like to submit a color scheme to be included as the default MEPIS colors, then we welcome your input. We will be accepting new color schemes through this Friday, June 2 (and maybe a little later). After submitting your color schemes, Warren and the rest of the MEPIS team will review them and choose what color scheme to use. You can send your submissions to . Have fun and we look forward to your submissions.
