Install to Hard Drive

Not sure what the problem is but the system locks up half way thru the install to my 200 gig hard drive. Says there is some type of problem that has to be manually fixed, (I assume it is related to the hard disk) . Reformatted the drive with the same problems. . . .

During boot-up, as soon as the Desktop is loaded, the system freezes. Tried turning off acpi, and booted up with other screen options, but always the same. Any help for this? Thanks so much. Really love Mepis, been using for over a year now.
