Simply Mepis 6.0 RC1&RC2 - NIC detection error

I have two network cards installed on my computer:
NIC1 to conect to internet using a cable modem (uses DHCP)
NIC2 for my LAN (no DHCP)
The problem is that Simply Mepis 6.0 detects sometimes NIC1 as eth0 and NIC2 as eth1, sometimes NIC2 as eth0 and NIC1 as eth1.
I have to use the static IP 192.168.0.1 for my NIC2 because this comp is a gateway. Each time I restart S/M 6 I have to manually reconfig my network. 
I didn't have this kind of problem when I installed other versions of Mepis.
