keep Mepis lite,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mepis lite

Hi,
I like the Mepis lite version, and I hope it never has anything from ubuntu in it.
Here is a listing of some of the linux OS versions i've loaded. I have my side off my computer and I have 3 other hard drives, that I installed too.

As you can see, I tried different versions, in 2 months, and most important to me is speed and ease of use. I still had Windows on a drive, but I use My Mepis Lite everyday.
Some were hard to load, some did not load, some did not have dialup support,(dialup still is the most used way to the internet)I could not get Ubuntu to find my win-modem, some were ram hogs, some were too bulky and slow. Java apps did not work in a few, like reading and replying my email in yahoo. Not all were total junk, but there were something that made me, a long time Windows user keep looking. But when I found Mepis lite, it loaded easy and do alot. Music, movie, search the internet, most of everything. Please keep Mepis lite without ubuntu, if I wanted ubuntu i'd order it,,,free with shipping. I think their OS is playing catchup to Mepis. I think ubuntu needed the help of Mepis more than Mepis needed ubuntu. I'd bet Mepis would be, next to Windows, if they had a millionair behind them.
