Carlops has created a Mepis users group on last.fm - the open-source music profiling grouping streaming site - and it works with the fab Amarok 1.4.1*

What plays is based on what music the groups listeners listen to - if you set Amarok to send the tracks played to last.fm (i read their privacy policy - seems ok) - then the database feeds a 'group radio' stream to us with music we will hopefully like! The more people 'tune in' the better the selection of music will be on our station!
Amarok 1.4.1 is now in RC3
For those who love Amarok (and last.fm): Amarok has been upgraded. Version 1.4.1 is default in Mepis 6.0 RC3.
