Printing from Firefox

Something isn't working right because whenever I attempt to print from within Firefox,(a reciept or news article for instance), the program immediately shuts down and I am returned to the desktop. On restart, Firefox asks if I want to re-establish the session, and that works except that if I attempt to try printing again, the same thing happens. If I print the document to file, I can then print the document thru open office. I never had this problem with 3.4-2. Any ideas?

Wish i knew the answer to this too

It seems some of these sites are opposed to people printing their stuff , and are capable of kicking us off if we try! But you have a work around so i guess the best cure is to enjoy.

Also, Try Opera

I will occasionally go to a site where I can barely get the home page up, and then the site will start to send me all the other "interesting stuff". I have flashblock loaded in firefox, but there is other junk that will cause firefox to just plain freeze. Then I have to shut it down. I will usually try two or three times. If I get the same result, then I draw the conclusion that their marketing cr*p is not firefox friendly. Then I try Opera. Sometimes, for grins, I'll even use konqueror, but it usually leads to the same results as firefox.

I like both firefox and Opera, but I'm more familiar with firefox, so it's my first choice.

By trying different browsers, you can sometimes identify why/what is causing the foobar Smiling
