System tray?

Mepis 6.0 RC2:

After setting the system tray to shrink after one second it now fails to come up at all. That's serious as I will have to reinstall if I can't see it. Puzzled Any suggestions about how I get it back?

Didn't see that problem anywhere else on the site.

Thanks

the hard way: go to

the hard way:

go to ~\.kde\share\config and delete the file kickerrc. Logout and back in again... There should be a shining old panel the way you killed it at first sight

Newbie or not Newbie, there's always a question

Move your mouse curser to the far left bottom and it will come up. Then change the setting in hiding panel to bottom edge . And its a done deal.

I normally change setting to bash mouse to bottom of screen when auto hiding the kicker panel to make the panel come back up. This time I forgot. Silly me.
It would only happen while showing off the new shiney rc3 to someone, made myself look a bigger fool than usual. haha...bonk

Maybe the bottom of screen should be the default setting?
Not the left corner, last place I go is the corners. Too far from every thing.

When I set the time down to one second I must have set the raise when the pointer hit the upper right hand corner. Oh well.

Thanks
