firefox freezes on website

Hi,

I have upgraded to the latest 6.0 version from 6.0 beta 4 and I am having my firefox freeze consistently when it tries to access a specific news page.

The link is:

http://www.lethbridgeherald.com/

It works in Mepis 3.4 but only loads half the page in Mepis 6.0 and then freezes.

Can everyone else look at this page or have you had this problem?

I am using my .mozilla directory from previous firefox versions, but I have upgraded all my extentions, etc.

My firefox version says:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060608 Ubuntu/dapper-security Firefox/1.5.0.4

thanks for your help,

Shami.

Im running the latest rc and had no problems on that site. If youve upgraded it might make it tough to figure.

Maybe someone else will have an answer or a thought.

Works for me (SimplyMEPIS 6.0 RC3).

Disclaimer: I used Automatix to install a lot of stuff after installing RC3. So, Automatix may have installed some packages that corrected any problems with that site.

sm6.0rc3 with NoScript FF extension.

With NoScript active no lock up.
Disable NoScript, refresh page and FF freezes. Have to kill/restert FF.
One of the scripts is causing it from the look of it.
