HP OfficeJet 6310 Network Setup

The HP OfficeJet 6310 All-in-One is not listed in the printer setup wizard (Mepis 6) for network installation.

I think it should be.

The sourceforge site indicates that this printer should be available under the HPLIP Project, but not as networkable. Please see: http://hplip.sourceforge.net/supported_devices/inkjet_aio.html .

However, the omission of this device from the "networkable" list appears to be an error. (The HP 6310 has a built in network card, so this omission is also counterintuitive.) This posting in the Sourceforge mail archive is my reason for believing that the 6310 is networkable under HPLIP: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=35415223.

Two questions, given that the 6310 is supported as networkable under available versions of HPLIP:

1. Can a 6310 choice be added in the printer setup wizard for networkable printers?
2. How can the 6310 be set up otherwise, in the event that adding it in the setup wizard is not possible?
