Hi everybody,
I went through several guides, and I could (finally) make skim/scim work in QT + GTK Applications, like Kedit, KMail, eclipse, and also in Mozilla Firefox.
BUT why doesn't it work in OpenOffice? When I start it through the console it outputs "ScimInputContextPlugin()" which is OK I think. But when I press the keys to enable scim, it doesnt work. Nothing happens.
I have Mepis 6 and KDE 3.5.3 installed just a week ago. Anything else works very good and I'm happy about it, but I think it's important to be able to write japanese in OpenOffice.
Please help anybody.
