I am currently using a geforce 44000 but need to buy a new card..
Anyone tell me the how the 44000,55000 and 6600 differ assuming they all
have the same amount of memory...I have always used nvidia cards
but am willing to try another make if recommended...Agp interface..

If you need faster 3D, keep looking in the nVidia line, and I'll stand-aside to let somebody better-versed inthe nVidia line to make a recommendation for you.
If the card is simply cooked and you just want to replace it with anything that'll work (read that as: you really don't care about 3D-motion rendering), then take a look at the Matrox line. Their G-550 is a fantastic card, and reasonably-priced at this time.
