MPIO FL100 mp3 player - How to make it work with Mepis 6.0

Hi all,
I have Mepis 6.0 and a MPIO FL100 mp3 player, which I connect to my machine using a usb cable. When I type var -f /var/log/messages in order to see what's happening when I plug my MPIO player, it says:

USB 1-1 new full speed USB device using uhci-hcd address 12

So, it seems that mepis recognizes my usb MPIO, but I don't see it mounted somewhere, and I can't use it. Any ideas?
