KDE Add printer hangs after finding Lexmark Rn+?

I'm a relative n00b to linux. I recently upgraded my SM3.4.3 to 6.0.
My printers were not saved in the transfer. I'm on large network with many printers.
When I use the print wizard, and scan the network, I locate the printer(s) just fine. Once I go to select the printers that are in my portion of the office, the printer wizard hangs. Additionally a sheet is printed that reads:

Also, when I installed the SM6.0, I asked it to save my home folder, and directory.
A few other bugs I have noticed today, in addition to not being able to print:
The screen saver needs to be reconfigured everytime I turn on the computer.
I can't seem to access the OS system manager as well as with SM3.4, and some of the options are not there.
When I went to alter the screen resolution, from a straight CD boot, I was unable to just reinstall grub.
