Thank you. It's true that many danes are fluent in English, but the averge ability for people over 40 and young people in public schools is rather limited.
Any ways I have found MEPIS to be the most intuitive and easy to use Linux distro to date, and I plan on recommending it to everyone I know, but some of them don't know a single word in English except for maybe ok (and coca cola)
So if MEPIS don't see the need for danish as an option. I am still going to try and make a danish installer.

You should do that!

Hei again!
Great idea!
That's what you should do STAALANDEN!
Try to help as many (Danish) people as possible.
It may be easier for you if you make a dual boot (let's say with Ubuntu 6.06) for help at this translating.
Try using terms and keywords from a Distro which already is translated as much as you like, that's what this Linuxfreedom is all about I guess.
I hope I don't offend any MEPIS User with my little advise.
But MEPIS and Ubuntu are a bit like relatives...
But I do know that forenamed Distro comes in many languages...
Good Luck, Ruud.

Hei Staalanden;
Maybe you want to try this link if you're interested in helping the Danish part of our MEPIS community:

You have to ask if they need any Danish translation at all, 'cause the Scandinavian are very good in English, I've heared... Good luck!
