kpowersave

hi can somebody help me with kpowersave I am trying to set cpu freq and I can set it while I turn the computer on and set it to dynamic but when I restart the computer it goes back to performance I want it to stay dynamic all the time, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

here's how

- open a console
- su to root
- cd /etc/powersave
- nano common
- find line that holds 'AC_SCHEME='(probably followed by 'performance'
- change to 'AC_SCHEME="dynamic"
- Ctrl-O to save - Ctrl-X to exit
- when back in the console, restart with /etc/init.d/powersave restart
- you're done

Hi, Thank u for your help

Hi,
Thank u for your help I tried it, with dynamic and with powersave option but the problem is when I turn my laptop on it shows the cpu policy as dynamic but the cpu clock is going full speed, I have to manually go into set cpu policy and click on either powersave or dynamic and then it goes down, is there something I am missing. thank u for your help.

set it to powersave

follow the instructions but instead of dynamic set the policy to powersave.
