SuperKaramba and Bible VerseI saw a live distro that had a SuperKaramba desktop thing that put a verse on the desktop. I don't know how it did it, and can't seem to find out how. Any tips or hints or how to's would greatly be appreciated! Thanks in advance! Shane »

Install verse
Nothing to do with suprekaramba, the package verse is what you need and can be installed with synaptic.

Daily Devotional Verse from KJV Bible
Verse displays a Bible Verse on each login. A verse from the King James
Version of the Bible is assigned to each day.

Go to synaptic and search
Go to synaptic and search for superkaramba and install then open a terminal session and enter superkaramba at the prompt. It wll open a window go to get new stuff press the new stuff button and scroll down to Losungen and select it and then to the right is an install button after it installs press add to desktop and then it appears.

Hey, the SuperKaramba is what I wanted. However, I would like it to display KJV verses. I visited the home site, but unfortuneatly I don't read much German. I did manage to find there one page in English, but it didn't say much about changing Bible versions. I did find the config file, and read through that, but once again, nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.
