PocketPC interface

Microsoft offers activesync for pocketpc interfaces.
I have a HP PPC model 548. It is not palm based.
Although I see mepis offers interfaces with Palm Products, is there nothing for Pocket PC's?
TIA

I've just turned mine on put it in it's cradle and then gone to K menu, system, Kinfo centre the selected usb devices and it shows on the list as Himalaya GSM/GPRS Pocket PC. I don't know if this will help anyone help us but try yours. It proves that it will at least see it
Let me know

Windoze...ain't it the truth?
My pocket pc shows up on my USB connections also. Haven't done much with it.
I think that the excellent community support for all Linux systems, regardless of who makes 'em, is simply fantastic.

Hi Dave
Check this out, I just found this, this morning and will have a go later this week. Check it out I think from first thoughts it could be exactly what we are looking for. Except I think my HTC device may be more problematic than yours.
Let me know how you get on mate.
Link is :-
http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce/index.php
Edit Dave synCE kde is in the repositories mate it's not the latest version but synaptic will install it. Just search for synce and it will find everything.
Cheers for now

Hi Dave
I have a qtech 2020, or HTC Himalaya, or o2 XDA2, I've never thought something like Active Synch would be on Linux, so excellent post mate. I hope someone can possibly help here as that's all I use my wife's Windoze machine for now, my backup of my pda.
Any of you clever people ( ROFL A polite way of saying gadget freeks ) help us out with any ideas.
Cheers guys
