Divx4Linux support libraries
Using Synaptic, I have a few times gone to install Divx4Linux but have stopped because the following is in the description, and I can't find them anywhere on the net. The pages found by search engines seem to have vanished and I have tried a number of times to install a codec from http://labs.divx.com/DivXLinuxCodec but the installer does not give an option to agree to the license, so it will not install.

NOTICE:
This plugin requires separate installation of libdivxdecore
and libdivxencore library which is not a part of this package
nor Debian itself. See documentation for more details who
to obtain this library.
In general you do not need this plugin.

At times like this, I usually snoop-up rpms and "alienize" them on the target system.
