I'm trying to install SimplyMEPIS-32-6.0-4 beta1 using an external usb cd/dvd drive. When I boot with the cd, it always come up with the Grub prompt. I can't seem to get the install started. Debian 32 & 64 bit version will boot and continue to install without problems.
My system is:
Foxconn K8M890M2MA-RS2H Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ GHz (Socket AM2) processor
VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP Video Card
External DVD Pioneer Drive
