I get error when trying to install the mozilla-browser pkg:
apt-get install mozilla-browser ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/mozilla-browser_2%3a1.7.12-1.1ubuntu2_i386.deb ..
trying to overwrite `/usr/share/doc/mozilla-browser/localstart.html',
which is also in package mepis-auto-6.0
This package installs ok in kubuntu.
What is a workaround/solution ?

Thanks, it worked. BTW, can I pass to apt-get directly the equivalent of --force-overwrite ?
Via some -o name=value or something ?

Do as root: dpkg -i
