SimplyMEPIS-64 6.04 beta works great!

I have a PCCHIPS A11G mobo, AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+, 2 GB RAM, etc. etc. I tried Ubuntu 6.06 and it wouldn't install properly (QT locked up).

SimplyMEPIS-64 installed very easily and works great.

I followed several of the ubuntu tweak guides and hosed up my system several times, but learned a lot in the process. Each time, I just booted up with the live CD and fixed the misconfigurations.

One question, one of the recommendations said to set CONCURRENCY=shell in /etc/init.d/rc. This doesn't work. Is this a bug?
