getting linux games (32bit) games to work in beta 4

Hi;
Has anyone been able to get 32 bit games to install in beta4 64bit.
the games I'm trying are:
quake 4,quake3
Americas army
Return to Wolfenstein
etc.
I tried to do it by a post in the Ubuntu forums but even though I su to root and try to,
make the dir(s) it tells me I can't(an yes I'm root and I know my pw)
I even tried sudo like in the example(does mepis even support sudo?)but nada.

If anyone can help me please do.
I need these games i love to run them under Linux and have in prior versions of mepis.
Also warren Thank you for the help with the nvidia driver install.
Plus you make one darn good distro I love the 64bit it's quick on my am2 dual core,
and on the new hardware in general.

PS: Saist we need your guides man plz update them
