I have 2 users on my system & I am using Mepis 6.04 beta 4. When it boots to the log in screen, I have to physically type in the user name and the password. I remember on earlier versions of mepis, the log in screen used to display a panel with little icons of the users and all I had to do was click on the users icon to select the user I wanted to log in as and enter a password.

How to I get that earier login screen on 6.04, its a lot more convenient when you have multiple users?

Please can someone tell me

Please can someone tell me how I get back to using the original KDE log in screen. Ironically, All the settings for this type of login screen are still in the KDE Login Manager settings, but they no longer have any effect. I can't help but feel this latest login screen is a backwards step. Please bring back the KDE one for the 6.04 final version.
