I have tried to install this printer with NO success. It works with Knoppix and Windows.
The test page is fuzzy and unreadable. The wizard identified the printer printed test page but with one option OK when the page prints but no option where the print is unsatisfactory.
I have tried Mepis for 4 weeks now and would stay with it but having to copy files to a FAT32 drive and boot windows to print is not a solution.
I would stay with MEPIS if I could print text and graphics. I have searched for help but none was discovered.
I will look again in the future but Linux desktop is not yet ready for a reasonable experienced PC user.

I bought a HP Deskjet D1320 yesterday for a spare, it took less than 5 minutes to set it up on SM6.0 and SM6.5 Beta6, on windoze it took 45 minutes and two reboots before I could finally print a test page.
Some day maybe Windoze will be ready for the desktop but it's got a long ways to go right now.

Epson provides a driver for Windows; they do not for Linux. You are blaming Linux for Epson's negligence. Please complain to Epson, where it might do some good.
