Knetworkmanger and automatically connecting
Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to have knetworkmanager automatically connect to my router instead of having to manually configure it everytime i boot into mepis. My essid is hidden and i use wpa2, no problems once connected but it's a pain to manually configure it everytime. When I first log into my account i have the icon "knetworkmanager" sitting in my taskbar, thats as far as i could get it, then i have to configure it.

MEPIS Network Assistant
is the tool to try first in 6.5 B5, in 6.0 MEPIS Utilities. Check out the procedures in the Wiki:

If that doesn't work come back with details on your MEPIS version along with the outputs of lspci -v and iwconfig.
