I added a KSysGuard applet to my panel and while removing the applet I accidentally removed the two default monitors the CPU and MEM ones. Since then I have been trying to fix this problem.
I restored the kde defaults but to no effect. Read something about restoring from root but the only instance of the applet I can find is in /usr/share/apps/ksysguard
Does anyone have ideas as to how this can be fixed?
Or if you press KSysguard

Or if you press [Ctrl][Esc]
KSysguard opens
You really don't need an applet

right click on panel and choose add applet, then you are looking for "System Monitor"
add that to panel
