Canon i350 Printer Troubles

I hooked my Canon i350 bj printer to my laptop via a USB 2.0 port and my version of Mepis 6.5 seems to detect the printer just fine. Will another driver that is supported by Mepis from another Canon printer work on this particular model? The free version of Turboprinter marks all pages with a watermark so you really have to buy. Any other free options? I'm a noob to Mepis and Linux in general but love it after years of Windows. Thanks!

Try all the sxxx with gutenprint ver 2 , a lot of them work on other printers . I550 works great with s600 driver , just try them all.

I could not find a free (as in beer) driver for my canon printers. I suggest that you bite the bullet and hand over the Euros for the keyfile.
