Looking for A Podcatcher For Mepis
Hello Everyone
Sorry to ask such a simple question, but here goes; I need to know what is a good podcatcher for Mepis. I'm not able to find anything through Synaptic and doing a quick Google search.
Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated

I've been using iPodder,
I've been using iPodder, downloaded and installed through Synaptic. You may need to enable another repository for it to show up in a Synaptic search. I've got it running here on 6.5 beta 6, it also worked on 6.0. Hope this helps.

Can't Find Repository With jpodder
Thanks for the help; however, I can't find a repository in Synaptic that has the jpodder program. Yet, I don't really know how to use Synaptic properly, so any advice about the use of Synaptic would be appreciated.
Thanks Again

Which version of Mepis are
Which version of Mepis are you running?
And, in Synaptic, go to Settings > Repositories, and let us know if there are any disabled repositories, and what they are.
Oh, and it is "i"Podder, not "j"Podder. Typo in your post perhaps?
Two things
1) I believe Ipodder was forced to change its name. Juicer, or something like that... don't remember.
2) I use Amarok as a podcatcher. It's not the best app in the world, but it does the job.
It still seems to be
It still seems to be iPodder:
http://ipodder.sourceforge.net/download/index.php
Although I do remember there being an issue with Apple recently, don't know how it was resolved.
Ipodder is now Juice
One quick Google search, now that I have time to breath again, reveals the news of the name change at this URL:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipodder/
Juice
Here's the new homepage for the project:
http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/
So it seems - I hit the
So it seems - I hit the download link on the iPodder page, the download page states that iPodder is now called Juice, but the files to be downloaded are still called iPodder!!
It is still called "ipodder" in the repo's though. There is an app called "juice" in the repo's, but it's a different animal:
"Juice is a frontend for mpg123 and other players. It provides
a nifty dialog-based playlist editor."
Hope this doesn't cause too much confusion....
Used Synaptic & Installed ippoder (Working Fine)
Hello Everyone
I just wanted everyone to know that I got Ippoder loaded, and it's working well. I don't remember the details about how I got Synaptic (actually what repository I used) to install Ippoder. Next time, I'll try to remember the details so I can post a finally solution to my problem -- maybe it will help someone trying to install Ippoder in the future.
Thanks Again Everyone
