Lost My Titlebar

I started my KDE-3D session and lost my Titlebars on my windows. I was playing around ... not sure what l did ... ctrl+alt+backspace and log back in ... now l have my Titlebars back. Anyone else have this happen?

You do know some emerald

You do know some emerald themes do not have titlebars. If in "fooling around" you activated one of those, you would have lost them.

Thus far it only happened once and it was in every window including Konsole, Opera, Konqueror ... l was running KDE 3d and never altered anything,Rich. When l upgrade l had already delete .beryl as instructed and never touched Beryl since.

xorg.conf modification

Okay, here we go.... Forgot about this last night, but here is what I had to modify inside the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. Find the section that looks like this:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Card0"
Monitor "Monitor0"
DefaultColorDepth 24
and add this line to the end:
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

I had already added that option before this happened ... still to this point in time it hasn't happened again so maybe it was just a glitch

I lost my titlebars back when I first tried the Beryl package (pre-"KED-3D"), and the fix was to add a line to xorg.conf. I imagine you are having the same issue. When I get home, I'll look up my conf file and let you know what I added.
