7 1/2 year wait for my linux desktop is over

I've been running Mepis 6.5 for a week now an i think my 7 1/2 year long search for a linux desktop starting with Red Hat 5.2 and KDE 0.9 is finally over.

OpenOffice, Firefox and Thunderbird take care of the mundane work.
Jbidwatcher, and amarok add some interest.

The Fonts !
Thank god at last out of the box fonts that don't hurt your eyes

And Beryl !
Wow, worked out of the box with an ordinary intergrated intel graphics card. A desktop without Beryl will be like a mouse without a scroll wheel

Everything just works !
Synaptic updates, smb4k samba share mounting, wine and vmware, my sound card, a Sip Phone, DVD player, mp3 player...
