I am using mepis lite 3.3 and can get online, but cannot open any web pages, please help.
I am on a dial up connection.

In my experience, this problem appears when you are not connected to a dns server. Usually, your ISP submits his dns address automatically. Look at your kppp (If that is your dial up program) configuration. is dns set to automatic?

I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe you can log on to your ISP but you can't open your browser? Which ISP? Are you using Firefox?
