[SOLVED] Multiple desktops not appearing in taskbar

I've configured multiple desktops in 6.5-rc2, but they don't appear. It seems there is only one desktop. Using kdm/kwin.

I would wager that, the inclusion of Beryl in this iteration of MEPIS, has a lot to do with the absence of the desktop pager.

I guessed that much and should have thought of the way to get it done as I've added stuff to the taskbar many times. Handed over the laptop with MEPIS to the young lady and within a few minutes she and her mum were playing the games - another user introduced to Linux, replacing Windows and so far loving it, they've even got used to not needing to double-click.

I've got the problem here with mepis32-6.5-rc-1 updated to -rc2. Didn't notice if a particular upgrade pkg was responsible for it though.
