Network interface not setup to start by default RC2
I just installed RC1 and network was setup & started when I booted. I immediately upgraded with Synaptic and booted to RC2 - no connection. Setup in Mepis Network assistant to Manual start at boot and to restart on apply. Clicked apply and App locked up. Forced it to quit and restarted Network assistant - new settings were there. Interface working.
I've tried to set it to automatic but it then doesn't start after boot - go back to network assistant and settings are still at manual, but not to start on boot.

Automatic actually uses a different method for wifi, that is knetworkmanager which requires that you configure your settings in that app.
Setting it to manual and checking start at boot should be persistent through a boot and start your connection. Be sure to apply your settings in the dialog before quitting.
